Several officers with the St. John Parish Sheriff’s Office escorted the 2017 royal Mardi Gras Court at Twin Oaks Nursing Home in LaPlace last week as part of the facility’s annual Carnival Ball. Tony Cambre and Ethel Trosclair reigned as 2017 King and Queen. Lt. Denise Bertrand and Chief Steve Guidry are seen with Queen Ethel Trosclair and Carnival King Tony Cambre.
