Jeff R. Tomlinson passed away on Thursday, Feb. 23, 2017, at the age of 73.

He was a native of Harrisonburg and a resident of LaPlace.
Jeff was the beloved husband of Janice Hutchinson Tomlinson; father of Deana Dianne Tomlinson and Jeffrey Alan Tomlinson; son of the late Annie Henderson and Horace Tomlinson; brother of Murice Tomlinson, Eva Mason, H. J. Tomlinson and the late James Austion Tomlinson.
He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Jeff was a Past Master of Progressive Lodge 262 and Past Potentate of the Jerusalem Shrine.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 1 at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, 2806 W. Airline Highway in LaPlace, followed by a Funeral Service at First United Methodist Church, 301 Bamboo Road in LaPlace.
