NEW ORLEANS — The Dazzling Divas performance group of Danielle’s Dance Academy, recently dazzled and danced during a pregame performance at a New Orleans Pelicans NBA game.

They performed a high-energy pom-pom dance to a mixture of four songs and completed their routine second lining off the court.

Half of the Divas took pleasure in forming the fan tunnel, “high fiving” the Pelicans as they entered the court. The other half enjoyed being in the flashing lights and smoke “high fiving” the starting line-up as they were introduced.

Danielle Taylor-Joseph, owner of Danielle’s Dance Academy, said the dancers had a great time performing in front of family, friends and the crowd at the Smoothie King Center.

“It was a great opportunity and an awesome experience for us,” Taylor-Joseph stated.

Dance mom Nico Savoie of Edgard said she and her family had an amazing time watching daughter Nyri and the other girls.

“Their performance was great,” Savoie said. “The atmosphere was wild and exciting. It was truly a night to remember.”
