St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff Mike Tregre and several of his fellow officers visited Edgard last month to share the Christmas spirit with clients of the West Bank Senior Citizens Center.

Tregre and Santa, also known as Freddie Young, had a great time calling numbers for bingo and visiting with the residents. Several prizes were awarded to the bingo winners.

The SJSO Santa also enjoyed taking pictures and assisting residents with bingo games.

Cookies and refreshments were served; and officers also gave out File of Life cards to clients.

Elves who enjoyed spending time with the residents were Ann Taylor, Denise Bertrand and Brenda Valentine. Other officers who assisted were Ricardo Colas, Susan Klibert, Quentin Nicholas, Toni Flynn and Darlinta Garrison.
