WSJH 12th graders create senior connection

Dozens of West Bank seniors enjoyed a brighter Thanksgiving thanks to West St. John High School 12th graders.

The WSJH Senior Class and the West St. John Stakeholder’s WB Kids Club teamed up Nov. 16 to greet seniors and present them with holiday food baskets during a professional day on the high school campus.

Presentations by elected leaders and business professionals also highlighted the campus event.

In all, organizers said, 57 senior residents and their families were given a basket of fresh fruit, Cornish hens and other food items to complete a holiday meal.

WB Kids Club Director Yish Edwards said she plans grow the event in 2017 by including 12th graders from East St. John High School and West St. John High School.
