LAPLACE — Stacy Cador is back fulltime leading the St. John the Baptist Parish as human resources department.
Cador served in that position for 11 years before resigning in 2015 to spend more time with her family. She was replaced by Nykya Perrilloux Freemont, who has since relocated out of state.
Freemont recently left and since her departure Cador was serving in that capacity.
“She is ideally suited for this position and has almost single handily shaped the department over her years with the parish,” Parish President Natalie Robottom said.
“She has a wealth of institutional knowledge that will be very helpful in moving the department forward for many years to come and we are very pleased to welcome her back.”
Cador has 16 years of experience in the field of Human Resources and prior to joining St. John the Baptist Parish in 2004 worked as an HR professional in the health care industry.
As Director previously, her areas of responsibility include policy development and implementation, employee development, compensation and benefits, employee relations, workers’ compensation and risk management.
She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in marketing from Louisiana State University and a Master of Arts Degree in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix, Metairie Campus.
In addition, she holds a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) designation with the Human Resources Certification Institute.
“It is great being back,” Cador said.
“I look forward to again working with Parish President Robottom and her administration, the Council and Parish workforce as we continue to move St. John Parish forward.”
