St. John Parish under tornado watch

A tornado watch has been issued for St. John the Baptist Parish and surrounding Parishes until 5 a.m. Wednesday.
A strong line of thunderstorms will move across the area into the overnight hours bringing possible strong winds, hail and rainfall. Isolated tornadoes cannot be ruled out during this time.
Please stay tuned to local weather stations for rapidly changing weather conditions and report any issues or concerns to 9-1-1. Should a tornado warning being issued, seek shelter immediately, pull off roadways, and cover your head. Please dial 9-1-1 to report any emergencies.
