DESTREHAN — Louisiana Ovation Vocal Ensemble is planning three concerts next month, and all are free and open to the public to enjoy this holiday season.

This year’s East Bank concert starts at 7 p.m. Dec. 9 at St. Charles United Methodist Church, 1905 Ormond Blvd. in Destrehan, while the West Bank effort is a day later, starting at 7 p.m. Dec. 10 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 234 Angus Drive in Luling.

In addition to these holiday concerts, organizers announced they are presenting a Messiah Invitational performance at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 17 at St Anthony Catholic Church in Luling.

Members of Louisiana Ovation Vocal Ensemble will be joined by many singers from the New Orleans area for the Dec. 17 concert. A baroque chamber orchestra accompaniment is also planned.

Admission is free for all events.
