ALBANY — Child Advocacy Services and CASA will celebrate Sundresses and Shrimp Boots from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at The Cedar Post Barn in Albany.

The fundraiser helps support more than 4,700 children currently in foster care in Louisiana. Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) are community volunteers trained to advocate for children as they navigate their way through the complex social services and juvenile court systems.

The event features live music by CUISINE, food, libations, a special celebrity guest, silent and live auctions.

Sundresses and Shrimp Boots is an opportunity for Children’s Advocacy Center to recognize and thank sponsors, partners and donors for supporting the agency throughout the year and is presented by Re-Bath of South Louisiana.

Tickets are available for $60 at the door. Proceeds from the event will go directly to children and families served through Child Advocacy Services’ Court Appointed Special Advocates and Children’s Advocacy Center programs.
