Avis’ Restaurant ushers in fun at grand opening

- LaPlace celebrity chef Avis White, center, celebrated the grand opening of her new restaurant, Avis’ Restaurant, located in the Quality Inn Hotel on U.S. 51, Saturday with plenty of fanfare and community support.
A ribbon was cut at Avis’ place Saturday.
