Army Corps of Engineers employee missing from boat docked in Norco

NORCO — The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a Mississippi woman who was reported missing Wednesday.

Larrielle Ross works for the Army Corps of Engineers MSU, which had a boat docked in Norco at Shell Motiva. Ross was last seen on the boat at approximately 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Ross is a 20-year-old black female, who lives in Vicksburg, Miss. She is 5’5” and weighs approximately 130 punds.

She was last seen wearing a red MSU Uniform shirt, white hat with Army Corps of Engineers, black pants and possibly a teal shirt under her uniform.

Ross did not badge out via the security office, authorities said, which is the only way on and off the boat as per protocol. All of her personal belongings were found on the boat, including her cell phone, the Sheriff’s Office said.

The search for Ross is ongoing with the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office, the Coast Guard and USACE.
