ST. ROSE — Authorities are trying to locate the last person known to have seen a missing St. Charles Parish teenager.
The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating the identity of an unknown black man. Pictures of the man have been circulated to local media.
This man was the last person known to have seen Corielle Clayton, and it is believed he picked her up in a gray four-door vehicle, Captain Patrick Yoes said.
Corielle is a 15-year-old black female with black hair and brown eyes.
On Saturday at approximately 12:30 p.m., Corielle was involved in a verbal altercation with a family member. During the argument she was told to go to the St. Charles Library and wait for her mother to come home.
The Library is located in the Charlestowne Apartment Complex in St. Rose.
Corielle never returned home and was reported as a missing/runaway juvenile Monday by her mother. Corielle did not report to school at Albert Cammon Middle on Tuesday.
Anyone with information on the identity of this subject, subject’s vehicle or Corielle’s whereabouts is asked to contact Detective Steven Fontenot at 985-331-1567 or 985-783-6807 or by contacting 911.
