St. Joan of Arc students pledge love for each other

- Kaleb Cusimano, Gia Adams, Angelo Wright, Dillon Duley, Joshua Jensen, Noah Troxclair and Gabriel Rios carefully add their pledges to a banner that was later hung to show the fifth graders’ school commitment.
LAPLACE — The fifth grade classes at St. Joan of Arc Catholic School started the new school year by focusing on the school’s theme, “Love one another as I have loved you. This is how all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
After discussing the theme, each student named a way he or she would show love at school.
Each fifth grade student then traced their hands on a large banner and wrote the way they would show love with their names in the handprints as a pledge to live as disciples of Jesus.
