- Demond Jones Jr., above, along with his mother Candace Washington, was the proud winner of the St. John the Baptist Parish Library West Bank 2016 Summer Reading Program. Demond said he enjoyed the good feeling he got from reading this summer, adding he enjoyed reading from the Handy Manny collection.
Keaton Rich, right, was the winner of the children’s grand prize (bike) for the Summer Reading Program at the Central Library.
