Photo feature: Bulletproof Vest Fund support grows

- Sheriff Mike Tregre recently accepted a $500 check for the SJSO Bulletproof Vest Fund from the St. Joan of Arc Thrift Store. The cost of a vest is about $500. Anyone interested in making a donation to the SJSO Bulletproof Vest Fund may call 985-652-9513. On hand for the check presentation were Tregre with store volunteers Birdie Remondet, Emma Gilmore, Velda Michel, Jimmy Lou Hebert, Suzette Goodrow, Kathy Gilmore, Cindy Cambias and Jayce Hebert.
