The Baker/Dropthmore Family would like to invite family and friends to gather together Sunday, Aug. 14, 2016, for a Memorial Service for the late Ronald “Lil Man” Dropthmore.

He departed on July 23, 2016, in Las Cruces, New Mexico. He is the son of the late Dorothy Baker and the late Louis Dropthmore Sr.

He was preceded in death by brothers Curtis “Pont” “Stage” Francois, Richard Kenneth “Bay” and Troy “Cool Mo” Dropthmore.

He is survived by brothers and sisters Kerry (Wanda), Michael (Fontella), Larry Baker, Louis Jr., Carnell, Donald (NaTanya), Alma Denise, Cheryl Dropthmore and Robert Shinard; his uncle, Herbert “Hosa” Baker; and a few best buds and family, Gaynell Balque, Lisa Watkins, John Green, William “June” Butler, Jacqueline Forest, Grayland Ceaser Sr. of LaPlace, Warren Lee Watkins of California, Lloyd Watkins, Corina Chase, Lisa Rosenblott of Blue Cross, case worker Mrs. Kristine Mills, the angel God placed over him from The Sexton House, all of Las Cruces, New Mexico.

The service will be held at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 127 W. 3rd. St. in LaPlace, directed by Dr. Freddie L. Howard, pastor. Apostle Joyce Brown, other Pastors and Ministers are personally invited for 8:30 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 14.
