The Garyville Library will host a “Watermelon Craft” at 3:30 p.m. July 25.
The Edgard Library will have a “Movie and Game Day” at 3:30 p.m. July 26.
The Central Library in LaPlace is hosting an “Ice Cream in a Bag Craft” at 2 p.m. July 27.
The Reserve Library will host a “Tailgating Event” at 5 p.m. July 28.
All branches will have sack races and hula-hooping for children and parents during the events. The Chill Sensations mobile snowball truck will be at all four events giving free snowballs to attendees. Those who have signed up and completed the Summer Reading Program are encouraged to come out and have fun at any of the events. If you haven’t signed up yet, there is still two weeks left to complete.
