My 3 year old recently asked me why so many people were hollering on the news; this question came while watching the recent protest in Baton Rouge.

I explained to my daughter what was going on at her level.

She decided we needed to show our police officers that, “we love them because they help us and because Jesus loves them and because we are supposed to love them God said so.”

She wanted our family to do something kind, so we will be feeding the men and women in blue today at 11 a.m. at their headquarters.

My 3 year old daughter, not really understanding costs, has donated all of her money from her piggy bank to buy food for our men and women in blue

We have been very fortunate to get help and support from Mrs. Raj (Pannu,) as well (councilwoman and Belle Terre, Subway owner).

She has gone above anything I had hoped she would offer and contributed a very generous discount. What a beautiful blessing!

I sincerely hope this community supports her business in return.
