Karen Ann Gaubert, 49, passed away unexpectedly in LaPlace on June 27, 2016, at 9:22 p.m.

She was born in New Orleans on Dec. 14, 1966 and lived most of her life in the River Parishes.
Karen is survived by her two brothers, Irby Jr. and Donnie; her aunt, Leah Cantrelle; and her step-sister, Patricia Schexnaydre (Danny). She is also survived by one niece, six nephews and numerous cousins.
Karen was preceded in death by her father, Irby Gaubert Sr.; her mother, Aline Lorio Gaubert; her brother, Randall J. Gaubert; her step-mother, Annabel V. Gaubert; as well as six uncles and three aunts.
Karen’s troubled soul is finally at peace as she rests with her mom, dad and brother Randall. She will be sorely missed by her two surviving brothers, Irby Jr. and Donnie.
A Graveside Service will be held at the St. Charles Borremo Mausoleum in Destrehan on Monday, July 11 at 3 p.m.
