The annual St. Charles Catholic Youth Football Camp is from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. July 11-14 for boys ages 7-13.

The cost is $100. Registration takes place from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. July 11. Call 985-652-3029 ext. 108 or 505-915-0374.

Campers receive a T-shirt and instruction in proper football fundamentals, weight training and conduct speed drills.   

Locals named to All-State team

Riverside Academy and St. Charles Catholic placed five players on the Louisiana Baseball Coaches Association’s Class 2A All-State Baseball team.

Riverside’s Mason Vicknair was chosen as an infielder and Tyler Gauthier was an outfielder.

SCC’s Brennan Gilberti was chosen as a pitcher, Brady Newman was selected as a catcher and Zack Roussel was selected as a utility player.
