The Rotary Club of LaPlace held it’s 2016-17 Installation Banquet June 21 at Holiday Inn on U.S. 51 in LaPlace.
Officers installed include President Harry Glidden, President Elect Rajender Pannu, Past President Melanie Basile, Vice President Cheryl Millet, Secretary Eliana DeFrancesch, Treasurer Robbie Tomeny, Sgt. at Arms Damon Davis, Director Anita Dabon and Director Poonam Oberoi.
Receiving the Stephanie Wilking Award for Outstanding Youth was East St. John High School student Alex Watkins.
Steve Montz received the Delton Arceneaux Award for Citizen of the Year.
