- Members of Leon Godchaux High School Class of 1956 recently celebrated their 60th class reunion at Petra’s Restaurant in LaPlace. The graduates have stayed connected through the years by celebrating numerous reunions, including 10th, 20th, 30th, 40th, 45th, 50th, 55th and 60th. Members who attended are, first row, Alan Ryan, Cynthia Oubre Vicknair, Danielle Madere Boudreaux, Carmen Clement Weber, Nancy Torres Matherne, Dorothy Songy Miano, Audrey Holmes, Beverly Jacob lngraffia, Marilyn Duhe Weber, Cathlyn Borne Tregre, Gerald Klibert, second row, Tommy St. Martin, Rene Miller, Mack E. Riene Jr., Vincent Rollo, Allen Chapman, James Oubre, Steve DeLaneuville, Albert “Nootsie” Hotard, Dorrel Catoire, Clifton Williamson, David Sutton, H. David Millet, Johnny Cicet, Kenneth Madere, E.J. Doming, Charles Alltmont and Leroy Oubre. Clair Oubre Zeringue also attended and is not pictured.
