LAPLACE — The public is invited to attend the 18th annual Get High on Life Memorial Day Breakfast at 8 a.m. Friday at the KC Home, 346 Fir St. in LaPlace.

Organizers plan to pay tribute to the men and women who served the United States and defended the many freedoms enjoyed today.

Special emphasis will be placed on remembering those who gave their lives while fighting to keep the country free.

All members of the VFW, American Legion and general public are invited to attend with their families.
