Kenneth Wayne Jung Sr., 75, of Tickfaw left us on April 27, 2016, with his family by his side, to join our Heavenly Father.
Kenneth Wayne Jung Sr.
Jung was born Aug. 24, 1940, in St. Louis to Wilbur and Thelma Jung.
He served in the U.S. Army and was part of the Airborne special forces Green Berets and served in Vietnam.
He was a longtime resident of LaPlace. He had a passion for fishing, his family, God and his country.
He is survived by wife Peggy Hadden Jung of 45 wonderful years; brother Wilbur (Butch) Jung Jr.; his children, Kenneth and Jan Jung Jr., Sean Jung and Troy and Laura Jung.
He has six grandchildren, Kendra, Megan, Austin, Alexis, Dalyla and Tristan.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 7 at LifeHouse Church, 3556 W. Airline Highway in Reserve.
