Q Hotels shares current, future development plans

LAPLACE — Jason Areng of Q Hotels welcomed St. John the Baptist Parish business leaders and guests to LaPlace’s Hampton Inn Thursday morning for Chamber Perks.

The River Region Chamber of Commerce’s monthly breakfast networking event allowed Areng to share news of Q Hotels’ latest project, TownePlace Suites by Marriott, which is under construction in LaPlace on U.S. 51.
Areng, Q Hotels Vice President of Sales and Marketing, said TownePlace Suites rooms come equipped with kitchens and are geared to serve extended-stay customers, usually for two weeks or more.
Q Hotels has a strong presence locally, operating Hampton Inn, Best Western and Holiday Inn Express.
