Edmond “Buddy” Waguespack, 91, passed away on Friday, March 11, 2016.

He was a native of Norco and a resident of LaPlace for the past 38 years.

Waguespack was the beloved husband for 63 years of the late Olga Ory Waguespack; father of Odelia ‘Dee’ Simoneaux and the late Ronald D. Waguespack; father-in-law of Michele C. Waguespack, Grace G. Waguespack and the late Bruce Simoneaux; grandfather of Scott M. Simoneaux (Rebecca), Denise S. Bertrand (Brian), Dominique A. Waguespack and Andrea R. Waguespack; great grandfather of Travis Jr. and Paxton McDuffie, Evan and Eden Simoneaux and Ava Waguespack; son of the late Louis and Delphine Landeche Waguespack; and brother of the late Norman, Hubert, George, Freddie and Baby Louis Waguespack and Mabel W. Webre, Mickey W. Rome and Winnie W. Blanyer.

He retired from Shell Oil in Norco after 38 years of service.

Friends and relatives of the family are invited to attend the Funeral. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at noon Monday, March 14 in Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church, 1900 Greenwood Drive in LaPlace.

Visitation is from 10 a.m. until noon at the church.

Interment is in St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery.
