H&R Block gives away $1,000 for ReFUNd Season

LAPLACE — Glenn and Tracy Tregre of Albany, La., recently made the trip to H&R Block in LaPlace to take care of their taxes and walked away with $1,000.

The couple from Livingston Parish were presented the money and a ceremonial “big check” Wednesday at the local office at 232 Belle Terre Blvd. in LaPlace.
H&R Block officials said they are putting the “fun” back in Refund Season through the 1,000 Win $1,000 Daily Sweepstakes.
Anyone who files their taxes in a participating H&R Block office can be entered into the sweepstakes. For information, including rules and other ways to enter, taxpayers can visit hrblock.com/grand. H&R Block bills itself as the world’s largest consumer tax preparation company with 10,000 offices in the U.S. and Puerto Rico.
