St. Joseph, St. Michael schools students gathering Saturday

CONVENT — A group of former students of St. Joseph and St. Michael schools, located in Convent and closed in 1966 and 1971 respectively, planned a variety of activities during National Catholic School Week, which runs through Saturday, to highlight the important role the two schools played in the community.
Former students and employees have the opportunity to enjoy fellowship and share their school memorabilia and memories Saturday as they participate in the following culminating activities: Attendance at the 4:30 p.m. Mass at St. Michael Catholic Church, followed by a reception in the Church Hall and a tour of the St. Michael School building, which houses a variety of historical information and pictures.
Former students and employees may invite a guest.
