Kevin F. Chabaud, 61, was born on May 19, 1954, and passed away on Dec. 24, 2015.

He was a native of Paulina and a resident of Gonzales.

Chabaud is survived by wife Deanna Deslattes Chabaud; daughter Erin R. Chabaud; son Colby C. Chabaud; brother Michael Chabaud (Shirlene); sisters-in-law Deborah Chabaud and Donna Chabaud; and grandchildren Logan Rebaldo and Coy Himel.

He was preceded in death by parents Hickley and Marguerite Poche Chabaud; and brothers Ronald and John Chabaud.

He was a motorcoach operator for Calco-Hotard Bus Line. His devotion to family was evident in his daily life. He loved people and being around others.

In his younger years, Chabaud enjoyed being a member of a bowling league and playing baseball. In his spare time, he enjoyed going to the casino and Disney World. He also loved to watch sports, in particular WWE wrestling, and he was a huge fan of the Lutcher High School Bulldogs.

He was a devout Catholic and a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 1817 (1905 W. Main St. in Lutcher).

Visitation will be at the Knights of Columbus Home in Lutcher on Wednesday, Dec. 30 from 6:30 until 9:30 p.m. Visitation will resume at the KC Home on Thursday, Dec. 31 from 8 until 10:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paulina at 11 a.m.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
