LAPLACE — The River Parishes Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta is accepting applications for its 2015-16 Scholarship Program.

An applicant must reside in St. John the Baptist, St. Charles or St. James or Parishes and be a high school graduating senior.

Those applying must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale and be actively involved in community service.

If awarded a scholarship, the applicant must be enrolled in a college or university by August 2016.
