RESERVE — Southeast Louisiana War Veterans Home staffers and volunteers recently hosted a Halloween Party for residents with band “Spectrum” performing.

The guitarist is son of one of the home’s WW2 veterans.

“We had homemade cupcakes donated by Liz Gonzales, and one of our own veterans, Betty Bishop, donated cupcakes, as well,” recreation director Sonya Hebert said. “We always enjoy the time we spend with our veterans, volunteers and staff. Our facility absolutely loves celebrating. We feel our veterans deserve the very best.”
