RESERVE — FCA Fall Fest will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Riverside Academy.

The Movement, which is a Christian youth group, is on a mission to help change youth in the River Parishes by coming together to discover their God-given purpose.

“We would like to invite the community to attend, as well as become involved in support, however it may be,” Maria Hotard Stelly said. “Everyone is invited to attend this amazing event. It will be a night where students listen to motivational speaker Shay Briggs, Life Songs radio station and Crave Band.”

Food, faith and fellowship are the evening’s plans, organizers said.

Ashton Cage, the founder of the Movement, continues to visit the schools weekly, giving messages of faith and hope.

“We are also starting to penetrate middle schools,” Stelly said. “We are trying to make a positive impact on the youth in these challenging times.”
