Photo Feature:$10,000 funds robotics education

- Elaine Fitzgerald and Holley Johnson were awarded a $10,000 grant for the Hahnville Engineering and Robotics Club to purchase materials and supplies needed to build a competition robot for the FIRST Regional Bayou Competition in March. The competition allows students to apply their knowledge and innovation in designing and building. FIRST is based around a six-week design and build session in which teams are given a kit of parts and a game-like task to perform.
