The National Society of Collegiate Scholars recently welcomed Jamie Lee Mire of Reserve as a new member.

The Society is the nation’s only interdisciplinary honors organization for first- and second-year college students. Membership is by invitation only, based on grade point average and class standing.

Mire is a graduate of Riverside Academy, class of 2013. She is the daughter of David and Sue Ellen Mire.

Mire is majoring in biology at Southeastern Louisiana University.
