Arcuri joins Family Doctor Clinic

LAPLACE — Dr. Michael Arcuri recently joined the Family Doctor Clinic of LaPlace.

After receiving a bachelor’s degree from LSU in 2004, Arcuri worked fulltime for Baton Rouge General Hospital and Louisiana Organ Procurement Agency. In 2008, he left for medical school at American University of the Caribbean.
After completing rotations in Baltimore and New York City, he returned to New Orleans to complete a residency in Family Medicine at LSU and Ochsner.
During his second year, he served as assistant chief resident and then as chief resident during his final year.
In August, he officially joined his uncle Dr. Dominic Arcuri, Dr. Christy Montegut and Dr. Christian Montegut in their practice.
“It is exciting to join such an established and well-known practice in my hometown,” Michael Arcuri said.
“I look forward to bringing excellent medical care to patients in the same manner and respect that people have come to expect and deserve.”
As a general family practice, Family Doctor Clinic staff treats adolescents though geriatrics in diagnosing and managing conditions such as asthma, heart disease and diabetes, as well as performing sports physicals and wellness exams.
Michael Arcuri is the son of Robert and Jennifer Arcuri of LaPlace.
