Club Social 25 awards students

EDGARD — Club Social 25 awarded scholarships of $500 to two students of the River Parishes for 2015.
LaNyzha Brown of West St. John High School is the daughter of Maria Populis.
Tevin Gros is pictured with Gwen Marshall, club president.
Her extracurricular activities include co-captian of the cheerleading squad, member of the volleyball team, BETA National Honor Society, LA Gear Up and track team. She plans to attend Southeastern Louisiana University in the fall.
Her community and church involvement includes vacation Bible study, church dance team and reading to pre-k students.
Tevin Gros, son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Gros, is a graduate of St. James High School.
Tevin is a member of the BETA Club, Library Club, football team, basketball team and captain of the baseball team. He is a Junior Councilman for District 7 of St. James Parish and an altar server for Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church.
Tevin plans to attend Southern University and A & M College in the fall, where he will major in mechanical engineering.
