East St. John High School students who were winners in the National History Day state competition were recognized at the St. John the Baptist Parish School Board meeting May 21. They are, front row from left, Kiara Ferrygood, Frances Means, Isabella Diaz, Jordan Deloch, Tanesha Williams, back row, St. John the Baptist Parish Public School District Assistant Superintendent Quentina Timoll and School Board President Keith Jones. Diaz, Deloch and Williams, who placed first in group performance at the state level, will move on to the national competition in June.
