Terry Lee Strayer, 57, was the son of the late William Strayer and Hilda Leary Strayer.

He is preceded by his brothers Bill Strayer, Johnnie Strayer and Garry Strayer.

Strayer worked for St. John Theatre, Bailey’s Andouille and was a caregiver for several years.

He was a caring man who was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was a loyal friend to many.

He enjoyed wood work and attending sporting events.

Strayer will be remembered for his kindness and loyalty towards his friends. A special thanks to the staff and caregivers at St. Joseph Hospice and all of his neighborhood friends who came to take care of him and give him support.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. April 11 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Reserve.
