Students in the first and second grade visual art classes at Mimosa Park recently completed their Louisiana landmarks and resources masterpieces. Students also focused on scenery, which depicted South Louisiana. Bennett Goris’ Home Place Plantation, an oil pastel drawing, was chosen to represent first and second grade at the parish-level Louisiana School Board Association contest.
