Etienne “Trep” Jules Trepagnier, 93, of LaPlace passed away peacefully on Jan. 13, 2015.

Trep was born to Nellie Villemont Trepagnier and Etienne Trepagnier in LaPlace.

He served in the army during WWII and retired from Western and Southern Life Insurance after 36 years.

Trepagnier was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and five sisters.

He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Lorraine Mary Trepagnier; son, Dale Trepagnier Sr.; daughter, Pamela Trepagnier; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 529 W. 5th St. in LaPlace, on Saturday, Jan. 17 at noon.

Visitation will begin in church at 10 a.m.

Interment is in St. Peter Cemtery.
