June and Chuck Wisher of LaPlace proudly announce the first doctor in their family, as in mid-May they attended the graduation ceremony of their grandson Matthew Wisher, who received his Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of Texas in Austin. Matthew is the eldest son of Danny and Charlene Wisher of Natchitoches.
