Janet M. Clements-Randle, 87, of LaPlace, formerly of Robinson, IL, passed away peacefully Sunday evening, Nov. 30, 2014, surrounded by her loving daughters.

She was born April 24, 1927, to Martin and Minnie (Simons) Phillippe.

Clements-Randle devoted her whole life to caring for and loving her entire family. She was a wonderful cook and loved planning and hosting family gatherings.

We are left with abundant happy memories of all the fun times shared as a family.

She will be dearly missed by all who had the honor of knowing and loving her.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Jana and Bill Connelly, Findlay, OH; Becky Parker, LaPlace; Gail and Dick Beckemeyer, LaPlace; three step-sons and spouses Joseph Patrick Randle IV, Palestine, IL; Greg and Janelle Randle, St. Cloud, MN; Terry and Jan Randle, Chatham, IL and a daughter-in-law, Sue Randle, Hutsonville, IL; grandchildren, Dawn and Albert Holman, Bowling Green, OH; Justin and Shannan Connelly, Findlay, OH; Jarrett Connelly, Findlay, OH; Jesse and Samantha Beckemeyer, LaPlace; Cody Beckemeyer and Spring Jones, LaPlace; Rachelle and Tom Christian, Marshall, IL; Roxie Randle, Nashville, TN; Drew Randle, Champaign, IL; Eliott Randle, St. Cloud, MN and Sammuel Randle, St. Cloud, MN.

Also surviving are nieces Carol Mann, Robinson, IL; Gloria Reynolds, Robinson, IL; nephew and spouse, Ken and Beverly Crocker, Atlanta, GA as well as ten great grandchildren and lifelong friends, Dema and Bob Rich, Robinson, IL.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Martin and Minnie Phillippe; former husbands, Howard Clements and Joseph Randle, her loving husband of 41 years; and infant son, John D. Clements; son-in-law, Robert Parker; two step-sons, Ronnie Randle and infant son, Joseph Patrick Randle, III; a brother, Lloyd Phillippe; three sisters, Esther Crocker, Ruby Higgins and Reva York.

A funeral service will be Friday, Dec. 5 at 1 p.m. at Pulliam Funeral Home in Robinson, IL, with Rev. Adam Conder officiating. Burial will be in the Robinson New Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday, Dec. 5 from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. at Pulliam Funeral Home in Robinson, IL.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Ironwood Pig Sanctuary, P.O. Box 35490, Tucson, AZ, to provide shelter for unwanted potbellied pigs (one of Janet’s favorites) or Riverlands SPCA, P.O. Box 223, LaPlace, LA, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
