Patti Poirrier Amato, 55, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Monday, Dec. 1, 2014.

A native and resident of Paulina, she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Amato found great joy in being with friends and family and especially spoiling her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Jared Amato; her children, Rusty Richard and wife Candy, Heidi Richard and fiancé Steven Maul, and Madisen Amato; her grandchildren, Demi, Camden and Maddox Richard.

She is also survived by her parents, Lloyd and Marie Poirrier; her mother-in-law, Carol Amato; her sister, Tina Guidry (Keith); her brothers, Brent Poirrier (Susan) and Todd Poirrier (Robin).

She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Amato was proceeded in death by her brother, Joey Poirrier Sr.; her father-in-law; P.J. Amato; her grandparents, Clarence and Nelta Louque and Evans and Elsie Poirrier.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice in loving memory of Patti Poirrier Amato would be preferred.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, Dec. 3, from 6 until 9 p.m. at Rose Lynn Funeral Home, 1870 Cabanose Ave. in Lutcher, LA and again on Thursday, Dec. 4, at the funeral home from 8 until 10:45 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paulina at 11 a.m.

Burial will follow immediately in the church mausoleum.
