Members of LaPlace Elementary School’s 4-H Club participated in the “Food Focus Cookery Contest” at the Andouille Festival. All first place and overall winners will be representing LES in the district cookery contest. The students are, bottom row, Danyale Jones, Sugar Division (Cake), first place and overall winner in Sugar Division; and Paris Snyder, Ground Beef Division, first place and overall winner in Ground Beef Division; top row, Jade Whitaker and Lorriane McDaniels, Sugar Division (Candy), second place; and Emily Bright, Sugar Division (Pies), first place.
