My name is Elijah Brooks. I am a resident of LaPlace and a citizen of the United States.

I am a Boy Scout working on a merit badge, hence this letter. I like the local newspaper, because it gives us great news, action and information about our community.

I think you do a really good job keeping us informed. My cousin from Utah once came to Louisiana, but knew absolutely nothing about it, so I gave him your newspaper, and he became a Louisiana pro.
