Ellis J. Boudreaux passed away on Monday, Oct. 15, 2014, at the age of 98.

Boudreaux was born on June 9, 1916, in Cypremont to Charles and Cecilia Bergeron Boudreaux.

He was the husband of the late Bernice Bergeron Boudreaux.

He is survived by his brother-in-law Gaston P. Bergeron and his wife Elaine T. Bergeron.

He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Boudreaux was a staff sargent for the U.S. Army in WWII through North Africa and Italy, later in life he retired from Shell Oil Company.

He was a member of the American Legion Post 195, VFW Post 3337, 3rd degree K of C- Red Church Council 3634, 4th degree K of C- Archbishop Blank Assembly 318 and Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Saturday, Oct. 18 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Norco from 9 to the time of Mass at 11 a.m.

Interment will follow in St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery in Destrehan.
