Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Michael Luminais Sr. are pleased to announce the upcoming wedding of their daughter, Katie Elizabeth, to Jarod Brett LeLeux on Oct. 18, 2014.

The ceremony will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Baton Rouge with an adult reception to follow at The Old Governor’s Mansion.

The future bride is employed with the Louisiana House of Representatives at the State Capitol.

She is a 2010 graduate of Louisiana State University, where she received a bachelor of arts degree in political science. She received a juris doctorate from Southern University Law Center in May 2014.

The future groom is employed with Nalco as a fleet manager in Garyville. He is the son of Keith LeLeux and Marella LeLeux of Lake Arthur. Jarod is a 2010 graduate of Louisiana State University, where he received a bachelor of arts degree in political science. He served as a first lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps, deployed to Afghanistan and was later promoted to the rank of captain.

After a honeymoon trip to St. Lucia, the couple will reside in Prairieville.
