Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Michel Sr. would like to announce their 70th anniversary on Oct. 18. They were married on Oct. 18, 1944, at St. Hubert’s Church in Garyville. From that union came six children, 16 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Children are Cheryl Keller (Gerald), Floyd Michel, Jr. (Loma Linda), Lydia Cashio (Gary), Merry Gay Vicknair (Carl, Sr.), Allison and Jeffery Michel, (Lisa).
