Fishermen’s Festival Pageants Oct. 11-12

RESERVE — The annual Fishermen’s Festival Pageants are being planned Oct. 11-12 at St. Peter School, 188 W. Seventh St. in Reserve. The Miss, Teen, Ms., Jr. and Deb Miss Pageant will be held Oct. 11, beginning at 5 p.m.

The girls pageant will be held Oct. 12, beginning at 10 a.m. with the Baby Miss, followed by Tiny Tot, 10:20 a.m.; Toddler Miss, 10:40 a.m.; Tiny Miss, 11:10 a.m.; Petite Miss, 11:30 a.m. and Little Miss, 11:45 a.m.

The entry fee is $50 for contestants. Admission into the pageant is $2, and children 5 and under are admitted free.

For the Miss, Teen, Ms., Jr. and Deb Miss Pageant, admission into the pageant is $5 for adults, and $3 for children ages 5-12. 

All contestants in these divisions, must attend a mandatory meeting and practice on October 9 at 6:30 p.m. at St. Peter School.

The entry fee for the pageant is $85 – Miss; $75 – Teen and Ms; $55 – Jr. and Deb Miss includes the photogenic competition.  Checks should be made payable to St. Peter School.

Personal interviews for Teen and Miss contestants will begin at 10 a.m. in the St. Peter School library. The Miss Queen is encouraged to attend the Louisiana Fairs and Festivals convention and Queen of Queen’s Pageant February 4-8 in Baton Rouge. For more information, call 225-229-2473 or 504-559-9202.
