A. Whitney Borne Jr., 64, was called Home on Sunday, Sept. 28, 2014.

He was the beloved husband of Lynne Scioneaux Borne for 41 years.

He leaves behind his four loving children: Holly (Todd), Jason (Margaret), Mikie (Brittany) and Elizabeth. He also leaves his four grandchildren, whom he loved and cherished dearly: Brittany, Bryson, Brianna, and Bentley.

He is also survived by his mother, Helen Waguespack Borne and the late A. Whitney Borne Sr.; brothers Stanley and Dennis Borne; sisters Paulette, Judy and Amy; and a brother-in-law, Timmy Scioneaux.

Relatives and friends of the family and employees of Marathon Refinery are invited to attend the visitation on Thursday, Oct. 2 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in LaPlace from 10 a.m. until 12:45 p.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m.

Burial follows at St. Peter Catholic Church Cemetery in Reserve.
